Abstract

Systems and methods that infer and classify user activity based in part on routing data. A storage medium can store raw data collected, and such acquired data can be subsequently be analyzed or distilled to generate abstract qualities about the raw data (e.g., velocity of user during route, level of difficulty, and the like). Various machine learning techniques, artificial intelligence methodologies, decision trees, and/or statistical methods can be employed to supply inference regarding the acquired raw data and/or the abstract qualities.

Claims

1. A computer implemented system comprising the following computer executable components:

a collection component that collects route data during a user activity; and

an analysis engine that infers the user activity based in part on the route data.

2. The computer implemented system of claim 1 further comprising a classification system that facilitates generation of abstractions regarding collected route data.

3. The computer implemented system of claim 2, the route data includes elevation.

4. The computer implemented system of claim 1 further comprising an upload that uploads the route data to a network.

5. The computer implemented system of claim 1 further comprising a contextualization component that facilitates generation of metadata for the route data.

6. The computer implemented system of claim 5, the metadata includes biometric or physiological data or a combination thereof.

7. The computer implemented system of claim 1, the collection component with GPS, and TDOA capabilities.

8. The computer implemented system of claim 1 further comprising an artificial intelligence component that facilitates inference of the activity.

9. The computer implemented system of claim 5 further comprising sensors attachable to a user'"'"'s body.

10. The computer implemented system of claim 5 further comprising a presentment component that supplies a proposed route.

11. The computer implemented system of claim 10 further comprising a search component that searches inferred activities and routes.

12. A computer implemented method comprising the following computer executable acts:

collecting routing data during an activity by a user; and

inferring the activity based on the routing data.

13. The computer implemented method of claim 12 further comprising classifying the activity based on elevation data.

14. The computer implemented method of claim 12 further comprising collecting physiological or biometric data from a user'"'"'s body.

15. The computer implemented method of claim 12 further comprising employing a probabilistic or a statistical based analysis or a combination thereof to infer the activity.

16. The computer implemented method of claim 12 further comprising inferring the activity based on classifiers.

17. The computer implemented method of claim 12 further comprising searching for a route based on physiological data.

18. The computer implemented method of claim 12 further comprising outputting data to an XML file for an upload to a server.

19. The computer implemented method of claim 12 further comprising annotating the routing data.

20. A computer implemented system comprising the following computer executable components:

means for collecting routing data during an activity; and

means for inferring the activity based on the routing data.
