Abstract

In a broadcast signal receiving apparatus, a remote controller has, as one of a plurality of buttons thereof, a state changing button for instructing to change a source to be reproduced by a main body. The main body or the remote controller has a memory storing a first state changing table indicating an order in which the source is changed. When the state changing button is operated, if the broadcast signal is being received by the tuner portion and reproduced as the source, the main body performs state change such that the first source in the first state changing table is specified as the source to be reproduced by the main body.

Claims

1. A broadcast signal receiving apparatus comprising:

a main body comprising

a tuner portion receiving a broadcast signal as a source to be reproduced,

an external input portion to which an external signal is inputted as the source, and

a first communication portion communicating with a remote controller; and

a remote controller comprising

a second communication portion communicating with the first communication portion of the main body, and

a plurality of buttons for specifying an operation of the main body,

wherein the remote controller comprises, as one of the plurality of buttons, a state changing button for instructing to change the source reproduced by the main body,

wherein the main body or the remote controller comprises a memory for storing a first state changing table indicating an order in which the source is changed,

wherein, when the state changing button is operated, if the broadcast signal is being received by the tuner portion and reproduced as the source, the main body performs state change such that a first source in the first state changing table is specified as the source to be reproduced by the main body.

2. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus of claim 1,

wherein, when the state changing button is operated, if an external input signal inputted through the external input portion is being reproduced as the source, the main body performs state change such that a source following, in the first state changing table, the source that is currently reproduced is specified as the source to be reproduced by the main body.

3. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus of claim 1,

wherein the memory stores a second state changing table that is different from the first state changing table in an order in which the source is changed,

wherein, when the state changing button is operated, if an external input signal inputted through the external input portion is being reproduced as the source, the main body performs state change such that a first source in the second state changing table is specified as the source to be reproduced by the main body.

4. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus of claim 1,

wherein the memory stores a unique list table that allows a desired order to be set as an order in which the source is changed,

wherein, when the state changing button is operated, if the unique list table is set and stored in the memory, the main body performs state change such that the source to be reproduced by the main body is specified according to the order of the source stored in the unique list table.

5. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus of claim 1,

wherein, if the state changing button is operated consecutively, the main body performs state change so as to specify, as the source to be reproduced by the main body, a source following the source that is currently reproduced in a table instructed to be referred to at a time of state change.

6. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus of claim 1,

wherein, if unusual operation is performed for a predetermined button of the plurality of buttons of the remote control, the main body performs state change so as to specify, as the source to be reproduced by the main body, an external input signal inputted through the external input portion assigned to the operated button.
