1. An implantable joint prosthesis comprising:
- a first component attachable to a first bone of a recipient; and
a second component attachable to a second bone of a recipient,wherein said first and second components are arranged to facilitate relative movement between said first and second bone of the recipient, and at least one of said first and/or second components comprises at least one modifying means, said modifying means modifying the first and/or second component such that a dynamic response of at least a part of the first and/or second component to a stimulus is modified.
