Abstract

Methods and systems for providing subscription data are described. Subscription data may be received from a subscription data source. The video content may be provided for presentation. A determination may be made of whether the subscription data is contextually relevant to the video content. The subscription data may be provided for presentation in accordance with the determination and the providing of the video content.

Claims

12-1. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

accessing a user profile;

wherein the receiving of the subscription data is in accordance with the user profile.

23. A machine-readable medium comprising instructions, which when implemented by one or more processors perform the following operations:

receive subscription data from a subscription data source;

provide video content for presentation;

make a determination of whether the subscription data is contextually relevant to the video content; and

provide the subscription data for presentation in accordance with the determination and the providing of the video content.

24. The machine-readable medium of claim 23 further comprising instructions, which when implemented by one or more processors perform the following operations:

receive a feed request from a user; and

subscribe to the syndicated feed in accordance with the feed request;

wherein subscription data is received in accordance with the subscribing to the syndicated feed.

25. A system comprising:

a subscription data receiver module to receive subscription data from a subscription data source;

a video content provider module to provide video content for presentation;

a relevancy determination module to make a determination of whether the subscription data is contextually relevant to the video content; and

a subscription data provider module to provide the subscription data for presentation in accordance with the determination and the providing of the video content.
