1. A method implemented in a mobile device having a core communication function and operable to present human perceivable content using a display, the method comprising:
- detecting an attention of a person with respect to the display;
determining that space is available on the display for presentation of advertising content; and
sending to a third-party an indication of the detected attention of the person and an indication of the determined availability of the display to present advertising content.
