Abstract

Embodiments provide a device, a system, a computer program product, and a method. A method embodiment provides a method implemented in an environment that includes a person viewing content displayed by an electronic device. The method includes detecting a reaction by the person to a displayed first content. The method also includes transmitting a search request for a second content corresponding to the detected reaction and to an attribute of the displayed first content. The method further includes receiving a response to the search request that includes at least an indication of the second content. The method also includes displaying the second content.

Claims

1. A method implemented in an environment that includes a person viewing content displayed by an electronic device, the method comprising:

detecting a reaction by the person to a displayed first content;

transmitting a search request for a second content corresponding to the detected reaction and to an attribute of the displayed first content;

receiving a response to the search request that includes at least an indication of the second content; and

displaying the second content.

2. The method of claim 1, further including:

determining a content attribute of the displayed first content.

3. The method of claim 1, further including:

selecting the second content from the response to the search request.

4. An electronic device comprising:

a display surface operable to display electronic content in a manner perceivable by a person;

a sensor apparatus operable to acquire data indicative of a response by the person to a first electronic content displayed on the surface;

an analytic circuit operable to detect a reaction by the person to a displayed first content in response to the acquired data;

a query circuit operable to transmit a search request for a second electronic content that corresponds to the detected reaction and to an attribute of the displayed first content; and

a receiver circuit operable to receive a response to the search request that includes at least an indication of the second content.

5. The electronic device of claim 4, further comprising:

a chooser circuit operable to select the second electronic content from the received response to the search request.

6. The electronic device of claim 4, further comprising:

a broadcast circuit operable to facilitate a display of the first electronic content and the second electronic content.

7. The electronic device of claim 4, further comprising:

a receiver circuit operable to receive a result of the initiated search.

8. The electronic device of claim 4, further comprising:

a digital storage device operable to save the received response to the search request.

9. The electronic device of claim 4, wherein the display surface operable to display electronic content in a manner perceivable by a person further includes:

a display surface operable to display electronic content in a manner perceivable by the person and in a manner designed to facilitate sensing a response by the person.

10. The electronic device of claim 4, wherein the sensor apparatus operable to acquire data indicative of a response by the person to a first electronic content displayed on the surface further includes:

a sensor apparatus operable to acquire data indicative of a physically manifested response by the person to a first electronic content displayed on the surface.

11. A computer program product comprising:

(a) program instructions operable to perform a process in a computing device, the process comprising;

detect a reaction by a person to a displayed first content;

transmit a search request for a second content corresponding to the detected reaction and to an attribute of the displayed first content;

receive a response to the search request that includes at least an indication of the second content;

save data indicative of the received response to the search request; and

display the second content; and

(b) a computer-readable computer storage medium bearing the program instructions.

12. The computer program product of claim 11, the process further comprising:

select the second content from the received response to the search request
