Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for configuring and searching HS-SCCHs of a multi-carrier cell in a TD-SCDMA system. The network side configures the configuration information of a HS-SCCH set for a UE and notifies the UE through high layer signaling, wherein each HS-SCCH corresponds to a frequency point of high speed shared resources; the UE divides the HS-SCCH set into several subsets, and HS-SCCHs of the same subset correspond to the same frequency points; the UE selects the minimum value N from the number of carriers supported by itself, the number of the frequency points, and the number of the HS-SCCH subsets; the UE searches each HS-SCCH subset to be searched in turn, and if a consistent HS-SCCH is found, then the UE stops searching the other HS-SCCHs of the subset, the UE moves said subset out of the group of the HS-SCCH subsets to be searched, and adds the found HS-SCCH into a valid HS-SCCH set to be monitored; if the number of the HS-SCCHs of the valid HS-SCCH set equals to N, then stop searching. The present invention can increase the efficiency of searching the HS-SCCHs by the UE with satisfying normal communication requires.

11. A method for facilitating data communication involving a terminal device, the terminal device being associated with an identifier, the terminal device being compatible with services provided by a set of compatible carriers, the set of compatible carriers including a number of carriers, the method comprising:
-
receiving information pertaining to a first control channel set; dividing the first control channel set into a number of control channel subsets, each control channel subset of the control channel subsets being associated with at least one of a carrier and a frequency point, the control channel subsets including a first control channel subset, the first control channel subset including a first control channel; including the control channel subsets into a control channel subset group; searching the first control channel subset until the first control channel is found, wherein the first control channel is consistent with the identifier; stopping searching the first control channel subset after the first control channel has been found; moving the first control channel subset out of the control channel subset group after the First control channel has been found; adding the first control channel to a second control chancel set, the second control channel subset including control channels that are consistent with the identifier; and monitoring the control channels that are consistent with the identifier in the second control channel set. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
