  • An warming system for a carbon fiber composite high pressure gas storage tank for maintaining the temperature of the gas within the tank and the gas flow components associated with one or more boss at a tank end above the lower temperature design tolerance limit of the tank and the gas flow components associated with the tank comprising;

    a resin fiber composite the tank formed from an electromagnetically active fiber material embedded in a polymeric binder, the warming system comprising a coil of conductive wire wound around the diameter of the tank interconnected with a high-frequency alternating current (AC) passed through the coil from an on board power source to produce an electromagnetic field that warms the tank by electromagnetic induction.
