SAFETY DEVICES FOR CONTAINERS
First Claim
1. A safety device for a container having a dispenser rod that is controlled by being depressed, the safety device comprising:
- a base configured to be secured to the container while the container is in use; and
a blocking member pivotally movable relative to the base, and configured to take up an active position in which it opposes depression of the dispenser rod by an endpiece coupled to the dispenser rod, said endpiece being moved by the user in order to cause product to be dispensed, and an inactive position in which it allows the dispenser rod to be depressed, the blocking member being capable of retaining the active or inactive position into which it is placed by the user once the user ceases to act on the blocking member, the blocking member being connected by a hinge to the base.
