9. A video monitoring method to control the access to a video monitored room, the method comprising the following steps:

capturing by means of a video camera of the scene in an entrance area in which there is an automatic door for the access to video monitored premises, when a user is in said entrance area, recognition of a face from the images captured by said video camera, and opening of said door in accordance with recognition of the face.
