1. A wrist strap for carrying two or more components, the strap comprising:
- (i) a first strap part having a first and a second end and including a first component between said first and second ends; and
(ii) a second strap part having a first and a second end and including a second component between said first and second ends;
wherein the first ends of each of the first and second strap parts are reversibly engagable with each other and the second ends of the first and second strap parts are reversibly engagable with each other; and
wherein the second strap part includes a light unit adapted to be worn against the lower surface of the wrist, the light unit comprising a housing having a front surface facing towards the hand in use and a light source received within a seat positioned at or towards the front of the housing thereby to provide the wearer with access to a hands free light.

A multicomponent wrist strap is provided formed from two or more reversibly inter-engageable strap parts. Components such as a watch face, an identity tag, a light unit a status display and or memory unit for a mobile phone, a wireless headset for a mobile phone or a computer for sub-aqua diving can be accommodated on each of the strap parts.
