1. An electronic advertisement system includingediting means for editing a plurality of advertisement data to generate edited advertisement data for distribution;
- a distribution server having distribution means for distributing said edited advertisement data from said editing means over a network;
a first display device for making display based on said edited advertisement data distributed from said distribution server; and
a second display device for making display based on said edited advertisement data in synchronization with said first display device;
whereinsaid second display device includes readout/write means to read out from and/or write in a memory having user data stored therein; and
control means for exercising control to change display contents by said first display device based on said user data read out from said memory by said readout/write means.

Disclosed is an electronic advertisement system in which display based on edited advertisement data distributed from a distribution server (20) is made in synchronism on a large-format display (312) and a sub-display (322), by a set top box (301B), user data stored in an IC card (40) is read out by a reader/writer (304) provided for the sub-display (322), and in which display contents by the large-format display (312) and the sub-display (322) are changed based on the read-out user data. That is, advertisement display is made in a manner suited to a user, such as a consumer, based on the information stored in a memory carried about by the user.

editing means for editing a plurality of advertisement data to generate edited advertisement data for distribution; -
a distribution server having distribution means for distributing said edited advertisement data from said editing means over a network; a first display device for making display based on said edited advertisement data distributed from said distribution server; and a second display device for making display based on said edited advertisement data in synchronization with said first display device;

4. A display control method in an electronic advertisement system in which display based on edited advertisement data distributed from a distribution server is made in synchronism on a first display device and a second display device;
- said method comprising;
reading out memory identification data by readout/write means, adapted to read out from or write in a memory having user data stored therein, from said memory;
said readout/write means being provided in said second display device; andexercising control to change display contents by said first display device based on said user data read out from said memory.
