Abstract

A portable device, a photography processing method, and a photography processing system having the same, the method including capturing a photo image; collecting identification (ID) information from neighboring devices; confirming ID information corresponding to the collected ID information; displaying one or more graphical user interface (GUI) elements corresponding to the confirmed identification (ID) information; and transmitting the captured photo image to a device having ID information corresponding to a selected GUI element. Furthermore, the photography processing method tags the identification information of the GUI element selected by the photographer to the captured image, stores the tagged image, performs a photo transmission and a tagging, improves user convenience, data management, and search efficiency, and quickly transmits the photo image of the target person without using additional navigation operations.

Claims

1. A method of processing a photo image in a portable device, the method comprising:

capturing the photo image to the portable device;

displaying identification information of at least one neighboring item that is located in a vicinity of the portable device; and

tagging identification information selected by a user, from among the displayed identification information, to the captured photo image, and storing a result of the tagging.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the identification information is an identifier (ID) of a neighboring device.

3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the identification information is person- or figure-information corresponding to an ID of a neighboring device.

4. The method as claimed in claim 3, wherein the person- or figure-information is a name.

5. The method as claimed in claim 3, wherein the person- or figure-information is a phone number.

6. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the displaying of the identification information comprises:

determining if a display command of the identification information is entered; and

if the display command is determined to be entered, displaying the identification information.

7. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the displaying of the identification information comprises:

collecting an ID of a neighboring device when the photo image is captured;

confirming predetermined identification information corresponding to the collected ID; and

displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) element corresponding to the confirmed identification information.

8. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the confirming of the predetermined identification information comprises:

comparing the collected ID with an ID registered in an address directory; and

determining a registered ID that is equivalent to the collected ID as the confirmed predetermined identification information.

9. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the displaying of the GUI element comprises:

measuring distances between the portable device and each neighboring device;

comparing the measured distances with a distance to a target object of the captured photo image; and

determining an order of displaying GUI elements corresponding to the neighboring devices according to respective distances to the target object.

10. The method as claimed in claim 9, wherein the determining of the order comprises:

determining the order to firstly display a GUI element corresponding to a neighboring device having a distance closest to the distance to the target object.

11. The method as claimed in claim 9, wherein the displaying of the GUI element further comprises:

limiting a number of the GUI elements to be displayed.

12. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the displaying of the GUI element comprises:

displaying the GUI element on a predetermined position of a display screen of the portable device.

13. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the displaying of the GUI element comprises:

displaying the GUI element along with the captured photo image.

14. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the GUI element is semitransparent such that the captured photo image located under the GUI element is transparently displayed under the GUI element.

15. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:

transmitting the captured photo image to a neighboring device corresponding to the tagged identification information.

16. The method as claimed in claim 15, wherein the transmitting of the captured photo image comprises:

transmitting the captured photo image using a Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.

17. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tagging and storing comprises:

changing a file name of the captured photo image to another file name including the tagged identification information, and storing the changed file name.

18. A method of processing a photo image in a portable device, the method comprising:

capturing the photo image to the portable device;

collecting identification (ID) information from neighboring devices to the portable device;

confirming ID information corresponding to the collected ID information;

displaying at least one graphical user interface (GUI) element corresponding to the confirmed ID information; and

tagging identification (ID) information corresponding to one or more GUI elements selected by a user, from among the displayed at least one GUI element, to the captured photo image, and storing a result of the tagging.

19. A method of processing a photo image in a portable device, the method comprising:

capturing the photo image to the portable device;

collecting identification (ID) information from neighboring devices to the portable device when the photo image is captured;

confirming ID information corresponding to the collected ID information;

displaying at least one graphical user interface (GUI) element corresponding to the confirmed ID information; and

transmitting the captured photo image to a device having ID information corresponding to a GUI element selected by a user from among the at least one GUI element.

20. A portable device to process a photo image, the portable device comprising:

a camera unit to capture the photo image; and

a controller to control a capturing of the photo image by the camera unit, to display identification information of at least one neighboring item on a display, to tag identification information selected by a user, from among the displayed identification information, to the captured photo image, and to store a result of the tagging.

21. The portable device as claimed in claim 20, further comprising:

a near field communication unit to receive at least one respective identifier (ID) from at least one neighboring device in response to a capturing of the photo image; and

a storage unit to store an address directory in which identification information is registered, wherein

the controller compares each received ID with the identification information stored in the address directory, confirms respective identification information stored in the address directory corresponding to each received ID, displays a respective graphical user interface (GUI) element for each of the confirmed identification information, changes a file name of the captured photo image to another file name including identification information of a GUI element selected by the user from among the displayed GUI elements, and stores the changed file name.

The portable device as claimed in claim 21, wherein the controller measures respective distances between the portable device and each of the at least one neighboring device, compares the measured distances with a distance to a target object of the captured photo image, and determines an order of displaying the GUI elements according to respective distances to the target object.

23. A portable device to process a photo image, the portable device comprising:

a camera unit to capture a photo image;

a near field communication unit to perform near field communication; and

a controller to control a capturing of the photo image by the camera unit, to display identification information of at least one neighboring item on a display, and to transmit, via the near field communication unit, the captured photo image to a device having an identifier (ID) corresponding to identification information selected by a user from among the displayed identification information.

24. The portable device as claimed in claim 23, wherein:

the near field communication unit receives a respective ID from at least one neighboring device in response to a capturing of the photo image; and

the controller compares each received ID with predetermined identification information, confirms respective predetermined identification information corresponding to each received ID, displays a respective graphical user interface (GUI) element for each of the confirmed identification information, and transmits the captured photo image to a device having an ID corresponding to identification information of a GUI element selected by the user.

25. A photography processing system to process a photo image, the photography processing system comprising:

at least one first portable device to transmit an identifier (ID); and

a second portable device comprising;

a camera unit to capture the photo image;

a near field communication unit to perform near field communication; and

a controller to control a capturing of the photo image by the camera unit, to control the near field communication unit to collect each ID transmitted from the at least one first portable devices, to confirm identification information corresponding to each collected ID, to display at least one graphical user interface (GUI) element corresponding to each confirmed identification information, and to perform tagging of identification information corresponding to a GUI element selected by a user, from among the displayed at least one GUI element, to the captured photo image and to store the tagged result, and/or to transmit the captured photo image to a first portable device having the ID corresponding to a GUI element selected by the user from among the displayed at least one GUI element.
