1. A flexible application device for the high-frequency therapy of biological tissue or hollow organs, including a tubular high-frequency catheter witha flexible shaft tube shaving at least one lumen passing therethrough,a head electrode arranged at the distal end of the high-frequency catheteran electric line with a connection for a high-frequency generator anda connecting element between the shaft tube and the line, characterised by a traction element which extends in the lumen between the head electrode and the connecting element sand which is fixedly connected to the head electrode on the one hand and the connecting element on the other hand in such a way and the cross-sectional area of which and the tensile strength of which are such that all external forces which occur during a treatment and which act on the high-frequency catheter can be transmitted to the connecting element by way of the head electrode and the traction element, wherein the traction element is electrically conducting and is electrically conductingly connected both to the head electrode and also to the connection for a high-frequency generator.
