a computer readable medium; and computer program instructions recorded on the computer readable medium and executable by a processor for carrying out a method for communication between a wireless, portable interface device, and at least one control device adapted to control operation of at least one manipulator in an industrial robot system, the wireless, portable interface device also being adapted for communication with a user, the method comprising; sensing a position of the portable interface device; transferring information between the wireless, portable interface device and the control device; and controlling information transferred in the communication based on the position of the portable interface device by controlling which computer program to execute in the portable interface device based on the position of the portable interface device.
