- a body, the body comprising an RF integrated circuit in electrical communication with an antenna and a baseband circuit, the baseband circuit in electrical communication with a microphone and a speaker;
an ear clip, the ear clip engaged to the body; and
at least two devices for converting at least two different sources of energy into electrical power, the at least two devices for converting at least two different sources of energy into electrical power being in electrical communication with the RF integrated circuit and the baseband circuit, wherein the at least two different sources of electrical power are selected from the group consisting of solar energy, thermoelectric energy, piezoelectric energy, and vibration energy.
