METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING A SYSTEMINFO BLOCK IN AN ACTIVE STATE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
First Claim
1. A method of transmitting a SystemInfo block in an active state, characterized in that:
- transmitting the SystemInfo block every NpBCH0—
Period superframe;
carrying the SystemInfo block over a primary broadcast channel (pBCH0) physical channel by a control channel medium access control (MAC) protocol;
preventing the SystemInfo block from passing through a signaling transport; and
transmitting the SystemInfo block on each carrier if a multi-carrier mode is MultiCarrierOn, the contents of the SystemInfo block being identical for all carriers except for a CarrierID, a FLReservedInterlaces and a NumFLReservedSubband.
