Abstract
The invention relates to a plug-in adapter for establishing an electrical connection between contacts of a plug, which is fixed to the end of a cable, and contact surfaces of a patch panel, which are formed on the edge of a printed circuit board. The plug-in adapter comprises a base body with a first receiving shaft designed for the insertable reception of the plug, a second receiving shaft designed for the insertable reception of the patch panel, and with contact bodies in the first and second receiving shafts. The electrical connection is established between corresponding contact bodies by a respective connecting element situated in the base body.

12. A plug-in adapter for establishing an electrical connection between contacts of a plug connected to a cable and contact surfaces of a patch panel formed on the edge of a printed circuit board, comprising:

a base body; a connecting element having a first intermediate contact piece and second intermediate contact piece; a first part comprising; a first contact body, a first receiving chamber for an insertable reception of the plug, and wherein the first receiving chamber includes the first contact body; and a second part comprising; a second contact body, a second receiving chamber for the insertable reception of the patch panel, and wherein the second receiving chamber having the second contact body; wherein the base body is formed by a mated condition of the first part to the second part via a locking connection, wherein in the mated condition an electrical connection is established between the first and second contact body via the connecting element, wherein the first and second intermediate contact pieces are held in contact in the mated condition by the locking connection. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23)
