Abstract

A method, computer readable medium and system for web content optimization in single page display environment includes receiving in a system with a single page display environment an engagement of an activator for a data picker for at least one form field in a form page. The form page is replaced with a data picker web page associated with the engaged activator in the single page display environment. A selection for the at least one form field from the data picker web page is received. The data picker web page is replaced with the form page in the single page display environment. The form page is filled with any previously entered data and the at least one form field with the received selection.

Claims

1. A method for web content optimization in single page display environment, the method comprising;

receiving in a system with a single page display environment an engagement of an activator for a data picker for at least one form field in a form page;

replacing the form page with a data picker web page associated with the engaged activator in the single page display environment;

receiving a selection for the at least one form field from the data picker web page;

replacing the data picker web page with the form page in the single page display environment; and

filling the form page with any previously entered data and the at least one form field with the received selection.

2. The method as set forth in claim 1 further comprising:

identifying the activator for the at least one form field in the form page; and

converting the activator to save and then replace the form with the data picker web page associated with the activator when engaged.

3. The method as set forth in claim 1 further comprising saving the provided form page and any of the previously entered data before the replacing the form page with a data picker web page associated with the engaged activator.

4. The method as set forth in claim 3 wherein the saving further comprises saving information about the at least one form field to be filled by the received selection.

5. The method as set forth in claim 4 wherein the saving further comprises saving information about a URL identifying the data picker web page to open in the single page display environment.

6. The method as set forth in claim 1 wherein the receiving a selection for the at least one form field further comprises:

providing with the data picker web page one or more options for the at least one form field; and

receiving a selection of an option from the one or more provided options.

7. The method as set forth in claim 1 wherein the system with a single page display environment comprises at least one of a mobile device and a desktop computer.

8. A computer readable medium having stored thereon instructions for web content optimization in single page display environment comprising machine executable code which when executed by at least one processor, causes the processor to perform steps comprising:

receiving in a system with a single page display environment an engagement of an activator for a data picker for at least one form field in a form page;

replacing the form page with a data picker web page associated with the engaged activator in the single page display environment;

receiving a selection for the at least one form field from the data picker web page;

replacing the data picker web page with the form page in the single page display environment; and

filling the form page with any previously entered data and the at least one form field with the received selection.

9. The medium as set forth in claim 8 further comprising:

identifying the activator for the at least one form field in the form page; and

converting the activator to save and then replace the form with the data picker web page associated with the activator when engaged.

10. The medium as set forth in claim 8 further comprising saving the provided form page and any of the previously entered data before the replacing the form page with a data picker web page associated with the engaged activator.

11. The medium as set forth in claim 10 wherein the saving further comprises saving information about the at least one form field to be filled by the received selection.

12. The medium as set forth in claim 11 wherein the saving further comprises saving information about a URL identifying the data picker web page to open in the single page display environment.

13. The medium as set forth in claim 8 wherein the receiving a selection for the at least one form field further comprises:

providing with the data picker web page one or more options for the at least one form field; and

receiving a selection of an option from the one or more provided options.

14. The medium as set forth in claim 8 wherein the system with a single page display environment comprises at least one of a mobile device and a desktop computer.

15. A system with web content optimization in a single page display environment, the system comprising;

a display system with a single page display format; and

a web page processing system that receives an engagement of an activator for a data picker for at least one form field in a form page on display on the display system, replaces the form page with a data picker web page associated with the engaged activator, receives a selection for the at least one form field from the data picker web page, replaces the data picker web page with the form page in the single page display environment, and fills the form page with any previously entered data and the at least one form field with the received selection.

The system as set forth in claim 15 wherein the web page processing system identifies the activator for the at least one form field in the form page and converts the activator to save the form page and any of the previously entered data and then replace the form page with the data picker web page associated with the activator when engaged.

17. The system as set forth in claim 15 further comprising a storage system that saves the provided form page and any of the previously entered data before the replacing the form page with a data picker web page associated with the engaged activator.

18. The system as set forth in claim 17 wherein the storage system saves information about the at least one form field to be filled by the received selection.

19. The system as set forth in claim 18 wherein the storage system further comprises saving information about a URL identifying the data picker web page to open in the single page display environment.

20. The system as set forth in claim 15 wherein the web processing system provides with the data picker web page one or more options for the at least one form field and receives a selection of an option from the one or more provided options.

21. The system as set forth in claim 15 wherein the display system with a single page display format is in at least one of a mobile device and a desktop computer.
