Abstract

An LED lamp including a glass lampshell and a stem assembly with one end inserted into the glass lampshell. The stem assembly comprises a glass trumpet tube with one end sealed within the glass lampshell to form a cavity within the glass lampshell and within the cavity a supporting component connected to the glass trumpet tube and supporting an LED emitter. The stem assembly further comprises a wire encompassed within the glass trumpet tube. The wire has one end extending outside of the cavity and the other end electrically connected to the LED emitter.

Claims

1. An LED lamp comprising:

a glass lampshell; and

a stem assembly with one end inserted into said glass lampshell;

said stem assembly further comprising;

a glass trumpet tube with one end sealed within said glass lampshell to form a cavity within said glass lampshell;

an LED emitter within said cavity;

a supporting component within said cavity supporting said LED emitter and connected to said glass trumpet tube; and

a wire encompassed within said glass trumpet tube having a first end extending outside of said cavity and a second end electrically connected to said LED emitter.

2. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the cavity contains a liquid.

3. The LED lamp of claim 2, wherein the liquid is light-pervious.

4. The LED lamp of claim 2, wherein the liquid is selected from liquids with a light refraction index of between 1.3 and 1.6.

5. The LED lamp of claim 2, wherein the liquid is selected from liquids with a specific gravity of between 0.8 and 1.6.

6. The LED lamp of claim 2, wherein the liquid contains a dye.

7. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the wire is electrically connected to a temperature control component.

8. The LED Lamp of claim 1, where said stem assembly further comprises an exhaust pipe encompassed within said glass trumpet tube having a first end extending outside of said cavity and a second end within said cavity such that air in the cavity may be evacuated via the exhaust pipe.

9. The LED lamp of claim 7, wherein the temperature control component is selected from a group consisting of thermo-resister of positive temperature coefficient, compound metal temperature switch, and a combination thereof.

10. The LED lamp of claim 7, wherein the temperature control component has a default temperature between 60°

C. and 140°

C.

11. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the glass lampshell has an acid-etching exterior surface.

12. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the glass lampshell has a sandblasting exterior surface.

13. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the glass lampshell has an exterior surface with light-scattering coating.

14. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the LED emitter contains at least one LED chip.

15. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the supporting component is thermal conductive.

16. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein said cavity contains a light-scattering glue.

17. The LED lamp of claim 16, wherein the LED emitter is immersed in the light-scattering glue.

18. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the cavity contains a medium vacuum.

19. The LED lamp of claim 1, wherein the cavity contains a high vacuum.

20. A method for producing an LED lamp, comprising:

forming a stem assembly by using a glass trumpet tube to encompass an exhaust pipe and a wire;

connecting a supporting component to said glass trumpet tube;

installing an LED emitter on said supporting component;

electrically connecting said LED emitter to said wire; and

while maintaining the open end of a glass lampshell in a direction substantially opposite to the direction of gravity,

inserting the end of said stem assembly with said LED emitter into said glass lampshell;

heating said glass lampshell to have said glass trumpet tube sealed within said glass lampshell, which forms a cavity within said glass lampshell; and

maintaining an end of said exhaust pipe and an end of said wire outside of said cavity after the heating.

21. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, wherein heating the glass lampshell, further comprising rotating the glass lampshell and the stem assembly synchronously.

22. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, further comprising electrically connecting the wire to a temperature control component.

23. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 22, wherein the temperature control component is selected from a group consisting of thermo-resister of positive temperature coefficient, compound metal temperature switch, and a combination thereof.

24. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, further comprising sealing the exhaust pipe.

25. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 24, further comprising removing the air within the cavity via the exhaust pipe before the exhaust pipe is sealed

26. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 25, further comprising filling the cavity with a liquid via the exhaust pipe before the exhaust pipe is sealed.

27. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 25, wherein the liquid is light-pervious.

28. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 25, wherein the liquid is selected from liquids with a light refraction index of between 1.3 and 1.6.

29. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 25, wherein the liquid is selected from liquids with a specific gravity of between 0.8 and 1.6,

30. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 25, further comprising adding a dye to the liquid.

31. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, further comprising acid-etching the exterior surface of the glass lampshell to form a light-scattering surface.

32. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 31, wherein the acid solvents used for acid-etching the glass lampshell includes hydrofluoric acid solvent.

33. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, further comprising sandblasting the exterior surface of the glass lampshell form a light-scattering surface.

34. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, further comprising adding a light-scattering glue to the cavity.

35. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 34, further comprising immersing the LED emitter in the light-scattering glue.

36. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, wherein the LED emitter contains at least one LED chip.

37. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, while heating the glass lampshell, further comprising installing a heat isolation device to insolate the LED emitter from the heating.

38. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, while heating the glass lampshell, further comprising applying a cooling measure to the bottom of the glass lampshell.

39. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 38, wherein the cooling measure includes blasting air.

40. The method for producing a LED lamp of claim 20, while heating the glass lampshell, further comprising filling the cavity with air via the exhaust pipe.
