1. An electric-powered vehicle, comprising:
- an electric power storage apparatus capable of being charged and discharged;
a rotating electric machine receiving electric power from said electric power storage apparatus to generate driving force for allowing the vehicle to travel;
an internal combustion engine;
an electric power generation apparatus configured to be capable of converting kinetic energy generated by said internal combustion engine into electric energy and charging said electric power storage apparatus;
information means provided at an exterior of a vehicular room for informing a user in outside of the vehicle about necessity of charging said electric power storage apparatus; and
control means for outputting an operation command to said information means based on a state of charge of said electric power storage apparatus, when a system of the vehicle is stopped.

Abstract
When a control apparatus determines, based on a signal, that an ignition key has been turned to the OFF position, the control apparatus outputs to an actuator an operation command of an informing apparatus based on the SOC of a main battery. The informing apparatus is disposed at a location where it can easily be seen by the driver when the driver has exited from the vehicle, and driven by the actuator. The informing apparatus changes its projection amount from the external surface of the vehicle or an angle relative to the external surface of the vehicle based on the SOC of the main battery.
