- extracting configuration information from an application corresponding to at least one device, the configuration information comprising configuration parameters;
configuring a user interface based on the extracted configuration information, wherein the input interface corresponds to a device remote to the at least one device;
receiving, via the user interface, parameter values corresponding to the configuration parameters;
saving the parameter values into persistent storage; and
executing an application based on the parameter values.

The invention relates to multifunction peripherals (MFPs). More particularly, the invention relates to remote application configuration management of MFPs. A remote application configuration manager may extract configuration information from custom applications, organize a user interface based on the respective configuration information, and receive and store parameter values with which the respective custom applications may be executed.
