1. A virucidal disinfectant having broad-range activity, comprising:
- a) one or more acidic phosphorus compounds selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, diphosphoric acid, triphosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid of general formula Hn+2PnO3n+1, where n is an integer of from 1 to 17, cyclotri- and cyclotetrametaphosphoric acids, polymetaphosphoric acid, peroxomonophosphoric acid, peroxodiphosphoric acid, hypophosphoric acid, diphosphoric(III,IV) acid, and salts of these acids;
b) an alcohol component selected from the group consisting of ethanol, propane-1-ol, propane-2-ol, and mixtures of any of these; and
c) one or more polyalkylene glycols;
wherein said one or more acidic phosphorus compounds constitute from 0.2 to 1.5% by weight of the disinfectant.
