1. A method for allocating communication resources for communicating data in a terrestrial wireless communication system comprising a first set of radio transmitters, at least part of said radio transmitters being used by a coordination entity, wherein the method comprises:

  • sending an inquiry from said coordination entity, requesting a representation of communication resources available for allocation in each of at least a subset of said first set of radio transmitters, said subset being used by said coordination entity;

    obtaining a response to said inquiry, said response comprising a representation of available communication resources of said subset of radio transmitters; and

    allocating, based on said response, communication resources of said first subset of radio transmitters.
