1. An organic electroluminescence device, comprising:

  • a pair of electrodes; and

    at least one organic layer including a light emitting layer, the light emitting layer being provided between the pair of electrodes,wherein at least one layer of the at least one organic layer contains a compound represented by formula (1);

    wherein each of X1, X2, X3 and X4 independently represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom;

    one or more of X1, X2, X3 and X4 represent a nitrogen atom;

    each of X5, X6, X7, X8, X9 and X10 independently represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom;

    each of X11 and X12 independently represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom;

    each of X13, X14 and X15 independently represents a carbon atom, a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom;

    the number of the nitrogen atom contained in a 5-membered ring structure represented by X11, X12, X13, X14 and X15 is not more than 2;

    each of Z1 and Z2 independently represents a nitrogen atom or a phosphorus atom;

    L represents a single bond or a divalent connecting group; and

    M represents a divalent metal ion.
