1. A content delivery system, comprising:
- a digital engine accessible by a wireless communication device via an information network, the wireless communication device including a cellular communication module configured to receive an incoming telephone call, a memory module configured to store information received via a cellular communication network independent of the incoming telephone call, a processor communicatively coupled to the memory module and configured to process the information stored in the memory module, a local rechargeable battery configured to provide power to the wireless communication device, and an interface to enable a power supply to recharge the local rechargeable battery via the interface; and
the digital engine maintaining a plurality of selectable content formatted in a digital format, wherein the digital engine is accessible from the wireless communication device via a graphical user interface (GUI) operating on the wireless communication device to allow user selection of a selectable content file from the digital engine, wherein the wireless communication device is to receive and locally save the selectable content file, wherein the selectable content file can be wirelessly communicated to the wireless communication device from the digital engine via a communication engine communicatively coupled to the digital engine.

The method provides a digital engine accessible by a wireless communication device via an information network, maintains selectable content digitally formatted, receives a user selection of a content file, initiates transmission of the content file to the wireless communication device for storage and processing, and initiates transmission of additional information associated with the content file to the wireless communication device.

15. A method for content delivery comprising:

providing a digital engine accessible by a wireless communication device via an information network, the wireless communication device including a cellular communication module configured to receive an incoming telephone call, a display, a memory module configured to store information received via a wireless communication network, a processor communicatively coupled to the memory module and configured to process the information stored in the memory module, a local rechargeable battery configured to provide power to the wireless communication device, and a physical interface designed to mate with a connector that includes multiple conductive elements, wherein at least one of the conductive elements is configured to enable a recharging of the local rechargeable battery via the physical interface; maintaining a plurality of selectable content formatted in a digital format; receiving a user selection of a content file; initiating transmission of the content file to the wireless communication device for storage and processing of the content file by the wireless communication device; and initiating transmission of additional information associated with the content file to the wireless communication device that facilitates presentation of an altered graphical user interface on the display, wherein the altered graphical user interface includes a selectable icon linked to the content file. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18)
