Abstract

Methods, computer program products, and systems are described that include accepting at least one indication of bioactive agent use by an individual and/or modifying an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:

accepting at least one indication of bioactive agent use by an individual;

modifying an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

means for accepting an identification of at least one medication prescribed for the individual.

31. The system of claim 30 wherein the means for accepting an identification of at least one medication prescribed for the individual comprises:

means for accepting an identification of at least one of an anti-depressant, an anxiolytic medication, a pain medication, a behavior modifying medication, a weight-loss drug, an anti-Alzheimer'"'"'s medication, or an anti-stroke medication as the at least one medication.

32. The system of claim 29 wherein the means for accepting at least one indication of bioactive agent use by an individual comprises:

means for accepting an identification of an illicit substance used by the individual.

55. The system of claim 29, wherein the means for accepting at least one indication of bioactive agent use by an individual and the means for modifying an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent comprise:

means for accepting an identification of at least one of a pain medication, an antianxiety medication, an anti-addiction medication, an eating disorder medication, an anti-obesity medication, or a mood-altering medication prescribed for the individual and modifying an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

56. The system of claim 29 wherein the means for accepting at least one indication of bioactive agent use by an individual and the means for modifying an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent comprises:

means for accepting an identification of at least one anti-depressant medication prescribed for the individual and adding at least one cheerful attribute to a virtual world experience to enhance an anti-depressive effect of the anti-depressant medication.

57. A system, comprising:

circuitry for accepting at least one indication of bioactive agent use by an individual;

circuitry for modifying an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

58. A computer program product comprising:

a signal-bearing medium bearing

one or more instructions for accepting at least one indication of bioactive agent use by an individual; and

one or more instructions for modifying an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

59. The computer program product of claim 58, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a computer-readable medium.

60. The computer program product of claim 58, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a recordable medium.

61. The computer program product of claim 58, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a communications medium.

62. A system comprising:

a computing device; and

instructions that when executed on the computing device cause the computing device to

accept at least one indication of bioactive agent use by an individual; and

modify an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

63. The system of claim 62 wherein the computing device comprises:

one or more of a personal digital assistant (PDA), a personal entertainment device, a mobile phone, a laptop computer, a tablet personal computer, a networked computer, a computing system comprised of a cluster of processors, a computing system comprised of a cluster of servers, a workstation computer, and/or a desktop computer.

64. The system of claim 62, wherein the computing device is operable to accept the at least one attribute of the at least one individual and present the indication of the at least one prescription medication and the at least one artificial sensory experience from at least one memory.
