Abstract

Combination therapeutics, computer program products, and systems are described that include at least one combined prescription psychiatric medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the psychiatric medication.

Claims

1. A combination therapeutic comprising:

at least one combined prescription psychiatric medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the psychiatric medication.

2. The combination therapeutic of claim 1 wherein the combined prescription psychiatric medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the psychiatric medication comprises:

at least one combined prescription anti-depressant medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the anti-depressant medication.

3. The combination therapeutic of claim 1 wherein the combined prescription psychiatric medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the psychiatric medication comprises:

at least one combined prescription anti-anxiety medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the anti-anxiety medication.

4. The combination therapeutic of claim 1 wherein the combined prescription psychiatric medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the psychiatric medication comprises:

at least one combined prescription attention deficit medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the attention deficit medication.

5. The combination therapeutic of claim 1 wherein the combined prescription psychiatric medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the psychiatric medication comprises:

at least one combined prescription neurodegenerative disorder medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the neurodegenerative disorder medication.

6. The combination therapeutic of claim 5 wherein the at least one combined prescription neurodegenerative disorder medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the neurodegenerative disorder medication comprises:

at least one prescription neurodegenerative disorder medication for treating at least one of Alzheimer'"'"'s disease, Parkinson'"'"'s disease, Pick'"'"'s disease, Multiple System Atrophy, or Huntington'"'"'s disease.

13. The combination therapeutic of any one of claims 1-11 wherein the at least one artificial sensory experience is suitable for implementation on a mobile device.

7. A combination therapeutic comprising:

at least one combined prescription blood pressure medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the high blood pressure medication.

8. A combination therapeutic comprising:

at least one combined prescription stress medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the stress medication.

9. A combination therapeutic comprising:

at least one combined prescription withdrawal medication and artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the withdrawal medication.

10. A combination therapeutic comprising:

at least one combined prescription diet medication and artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the diet medication.

14. A computer program product comprising:

a signal-bearing medium bearing

one or more instructions for specifying at least one combined prescription psychiatric medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the psychiatric medication.

15. The computer program product of claim 14, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a computer-readable medium.

16. The computer program product of claim 14, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a recordable medium.

17. The computer program product of claim 14, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a communications medium.

18. A system comprising:

a computing device; and

instructions that when executed on the computing device cause the computing device to

specify at least one combined prescription psychiatric medication and at least one artificial sensory experience for ameliorating at least one side effect of the psychiatric medication.

19. The system of claim 18 wherein the computing device comprises:

one or more of a personal digital assistant (PDA), a personal entertainment device, a mobile phone, a laptop computer, a tablet personal computer, a networked computer, a computing system comprised of a cluster of processors, a computing system comprised of a cluster of servers, a workstation computer, and/or a desktop computer.

20. The system of claim 18, wherein the computing device is operable to accept the at least one attribute of the at least one individual and present the indication of the at least one prescription medication and the at least one artificial sensory experience from at least one memory.
