Abstract

The present invention provides a method of controlling a virtual object or instruction for a computing device comprising: detecting a user activity by a detecting device; generating a control signal in responsive to the user activity detection; controlling an object displayed on a display in responsive to the control signal to execute the instruction. The user activity is detected by CMOS or CCD. The user activity includes facial motion, eye motion, or finger motion.

Claims

1. A method of controlling a virtual object motion by user motion for an electronic device comprising:

detecting a user motion by detecting device;

generating a control signal in responsive to said user motion detection; and

controlling said virtual object displayed on a display in responsive to said control signal.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein said user motion is detected by CMOS sensor, CCD, touch sensor array.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein said user motion includes facial motion, eye motion, or finger motion.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising a step of analysis said user motion before generating said control signal.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein said analysis includes the analysis of image change of said user motion.

6. A method of instructing a virtual object by user activity for an electronic device comprising:

detecting a user activity by a detecting device;

generating a control signal in responsive to said user activity detection;

controlling said virtual object displayed on a display in responsive to said control signal to execute said instruction.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein said user activity is detected by CMOS sensor, CCD or touch sensor array.

8. The method of claim 6, wherein said user activity includes facial motion, eye motion, or finger motion.

9. The method of claim 6, further comprising a step of analysis said user motion before generating said control signal.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein said analysis includes the analysis of image change of said user.

11. The method of claim 6, wherein said user activity is detected by EEG, EMG, EOG sensor.

12. The method of claim 6, wherein said control signal includes cursor movement.

13. The method of claim 6, wherein said control signal includes character input.

14. The method of claim 6, wherein said control signal includes software application instruction.

15. A method for browsing web page, text, email or image on a display of an electronic device, comprising:

displaying a first part of said web page, text, email or image on said display providing sensing array on said display;

determining whether or not a user touching said sensing array;

determining user motion based on said user'"'"'s touch;

generating a control signal based on said user motion;

displaying a second part of said web page, text, email or image on said display based on said control signal, wherein said control signal indicates where said user would like to browser.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein said user motion includes at least one finger motion.

17. The method of claim 15, wherein said first part does not overlap with said second part.

18. The method of claim 15, wherein said first part partially overlaps with said second part.
