Abstract

An apparatus for viewing information includes a wireless interactive monitor including a screen for displaying the information and adapted to receive the information wirelessly and a surgeon scrub sink for allowing a surgeon to sterilize the hands of the surgeon, positioned under the wireless interactive monitor.

Claims

1. A method of providing medical instruction or information, comprising:

a) providing a wireless interactive monitor comprising;

i) a central processing unit (CPU) operably connected to memory, wherein said CPU recognizes a plurality of user identifiers,

ii) a display monitor for displaying information from said CPU, and

iii) a transmitter for wirelessly transmitting or receiving commands or information, said transmitter operably connected to said CPU;

b) providing a user transmitter that transmits a user identifier among said plurality of user identifiers to said wireless interactive monitor for recognition by said CPU;

c) loading medical information into said memory;

d) assigning said medical information to at least one of said plurality of user identifiers; and

e) transmitting at least one user identifier from said user transmitter thereby accessing said medical information.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein said medical information is selected from the group consisting of pharmaceutical information, medical device information and medical instruction.

3. The method according to claim 1, wherein said wireless interactive monitor further comprises voice activation software, wherein after accessing medical information display of said medical information is responsive to voice commands.

4. The method according to claim 1, further comprising a server operably connected to said wireless interactive monitor, wherein said server comprises a plurality of medical accounts assigned to a plurality of medical companies.

5. The method according to claim 4, wherein a medical company uploads medical information to said server according to an assigned medical account.

6. The method according to claim 4, wherein said plurality of medical companies comprise a medical device company or a pharmaceutical company.

7. The method according to claim 4, further comprising updating medical information programming to said wireless interactive monitor from said server on a regular or irregular time interval.

8. The method according to claim 4, further comprising a second wireless interactive monitor, wherein said server selectively communicates with each interactive monitor independently.

9. The method according to claim 1, further comprising a second wireless interactive monitor in wireless communication with said interactive wireless monitor.

20. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the CPU is operatively connected to a server for receipt of program

10. A method of providing medical instruction or information, comprising:

a) providing a wireless interactive monitor comprising;

i) a central processing unit (CPU) operably connected to memory, wherein said CPU recognizes a plurality of user identifiers,

ii) a display monitor for displaying information from said CPU, and

iii) a transmitter for wirelessly transmitting or receiving commands or information, said transmitter operably connected to said CPU;

b) providing a user transmitter that transmits a user identifier among said plurality of user identifiers to said wireless interactive monitor for recognition by said CPU;

c) assigning said medical information to at least one of said plurality of user identifiers; and

d) transmitting at least one user identifier from said user transmitter thereby accessing said medical information.

11. A method of providing medical instruction or information, comprising:

a) providing a wireless interactive monitor comprising;

i) central processing unit (CPU) operably connected to memory that accesses a plurality of programs according to a plurality of user identifiers, wherein said plurality of programs comprise medical, surgical, or pharmaceutical information,

ii) a display monitor for displaying information from said CPU, and

ii) a transmitter for wirelessly transmitting or receiving commands or information;

b) providing an earpiece that wirelessly transmits a user identifier among said plurality of user identifiers to said wireless interactive monitor for recognition by said CPU and wirelessly receives audio information, wherein upon recognition of said user identifier said CPU permits access to at least one group of programs for display;

c) transmitting said user identifier; and

d) accessing said at least one group of programs for display.

12. The method according to claim 11, wherein said wireless interactive monitor further comprises voice recognition software, wherein after accessing said at least one group of programs for display, programs may be selectively chosen by voice command.

13. The method according to claim 12, further comprising a server operably connected to said wireless interactive monitor, wherein said server comprises a plurality of medical accounts assigned to a plurality of medical companies.

14. The method according to claim 13, wherein a medical company uploads medical information to said server according to an assigned medical account.

15. The method according to claim 13, wherein said plurality of medical companies comprise a medical device company or a pharmaceutical company.

16. The method according to claim 13, further comprising updating medical information programming to said wireless interactive monitor from said server on a regular or irregular time interval.

17. The method according to claim 13, further comprising a second wireless interactive monitor, wherein said server selectively communicates with each wireless interactive monitor independently.

18. The method according to claim 11, further comprising a second wireless interactive monitor in wireless communication with said wireless interactive monitor.

19. An apparatus for providing medical instruction or information, comprising:

a) a wireless interactive monitor comprising;

i) a central processing unit (CPU) operably connected to memory that accesses a plurality of programs according to a plurality of user identifiers, wherein said plurality of programs comprise medical, surgical, or pharmaceutical information,

ii) a display monitor for displaying information from said CPU,

ii) a transmitter for wirelessly transmitting or receiving commands or information; and

b) a user transmitter that transmits a user identifier among said plurality of user identifiers to said wireless interactive monitor for recognition by said CPU, wherein upon recognition of said user identifier said CPU permits access to at least one group of programs for display.
