Abstract

A terminal including a first body, a second body connected to the first body, a first display disposed on the first body, a second display disposed on the second body and having a transparency such that information displayed on the first display can be seen though the second display having the transparency when the first and second displays overlap each other, and a controller configured to control a movement of a displayable object between the first and second displays based on an opening and closing of the first and second bodies of the terminal.

Claims

1. A terminal, comprising:

a first body;

a second body connected to the first body;

a first display disposed on the first body;

a second display disposed on the second body and having a transparency such that information displayed on the first display can be seen though the second display having the transparency when the first and second displays overlap each other; and

a controller configured to control a movement of a displayable object between the first and second displays based on an opening and closing of the first and second bodies of the terminal.

2. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to move the displayable object from the first display to the second display or from the second display to the first display when the first and second bodies are opened.

3. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the displayed object includes a plurality of WebPages displayed on the first display and the controller is further configured to move at least one of the displayed WebPages to the second display when the first and second bodies are opened.

The terminal of claim 1, wherein the displayed object includes a WebPage displayed on the first display and the controller is further configured to display information on the second display when the first and second bodies are opened in which the displayed information corresponds to a link or item selected on the WebPage displayed on the first display.

5. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to display a new displayable object on one of the first display or the second display when the first and second bodies are opened.

6. The terminal of claim 5, wherein the new displayable object corresponds to control software buttons for controlling the displayed object being displayed on the other of said one of the first display or the second display.

7. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the displayable object includes a plurality of items displayed on the first display, and the controller is further configured to move some of the plurality of items to the second display when the first and second bodies are opened.

8. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the displayable object includes a plurality of items displayed on the first display, and the controller is further configured to rearrange some of the plurality of items on the first display and to move other of the plurality of items to the second display.

The terminal of claim 1, wherein the displayable object includes a plurality of items displayed on the first display and in which one of the plurality of items is selected, and the controller is further configured to automatically execute the selected item on the second display when the first and second bodies are opened.

The terminal of claim 1, wherein the displayable object includes a plurality of objects overlapped with each other on the first display, and the controller is further configured to move some of the objects overlapped with each other to the second display such that the displayed plurality of objects are not overlapped with each other

11. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the terminal comprises one of a folder-type mobile terminal, a flip-type mobile terminal, a slide-type mobile terminal, a bar-type mobile terminal, a rotating-type mobile terminal, and a watch-type mobile terminal, and

wherein the second display is a Transparent Organic Light Emitting Display (TOLED) and the first display is a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD).

12. A method of controlling a terminal, the method comprising:

displaying an object on at least one of a first display disposed on a first body of the terminal and a second display disposed on a second body of the terminal that is connected to the first body, said second display having a transparency such that information displayed on the first display can be seen though the second display having the transparency when the first and second displays overlap each other; and

controlling a movement of the object between the first and second displays based on an opening and closing of the first and second bodies of the terminal.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein the controlling step moves the displayable object from the first display to the second display or from the second display to the first display when the first and second bodies are opened.

14. The method of claim 12, wherein the displayed object includes a plurality of WebPages displayed on the first display and the controlling step moves at least one of the displayed WebPages to the second display when the first and second bodies are opened.

15. The method of claim 12, wherein the displayed object includes a WebPage displayed on the first display and the method further comprises displaying information on the second display when the first and second bodies are opened in which the displayed information corresponds to a link or item selected on the WebPage displayed on the first display.

16. The method of claim 12, further comprising:

displaying a new displayable object on one of the first display or the second display when the first and second bodies are opened.

17. The method of claim 16, wherein the new displayable object corresponds to control software buttons for controlling the displayed object being displayed on the other of said one of the first display or the second display.

18. The terminal of claim 12, wherein the displayable object includes a plurality of items displayed on the first display, and the controlling step moves some of the plurality of items to the second display when the first and second bodies are opened.

19. The method of claim 12, wherein the displayable object includes a plurality of items displayed on the first display, and the controlling step further comprises rearranging some of the plurality of items on the first display and moving other of the plurality of items to the second display.

20. The method of claim 12, wherein the displayable object includes a plurality of items displayed on the first display and in which one of the plurality of items is selected, and the method further comprises automatically executing the selected item on the second display when the first and second bodies are opened.

21. The method of claim 12, wherein the displayable object includes a plurality of objects overlapped with each other on the first display and the controlling step moves some of the objects overlapped with each other to the second display such that the displayed plurality of objects are not overlapped with each other
