Abstract

The present invention provides a mobile and web-based 12-lead ECG management information system for processing clinical 12-lead ECG, comprising: (a) a clinical device for automatically extracting a SCP-ECG or XML-ECG file and processing signals; (b) an ECG database for saving data exported from the clinical device with web-based user interface, and a mobile database which is synchronized with the ECG database; and (c) an interactive electric document for annotating 12-lead ECG with clinical diagnosis codes.

Claims

1. A mobile and web-based management information system for processing clinical 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG), comprising:

(a) a clinical device for automatically extracting a SCP-ECG or XML-ECG file and processing signals;

(b) an ECG database for saving web-based data exported from the clinical device, and a mobile database which is synchronized with the ECG database; and

(c) an interactive electric document for annotating 12-lead ECG with clinical diagnosis codes.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the device for automatically extracting a SCP-ECG file and processing signals comprises:

(a) a device for decoding information of sections 0, 1, 8, and 128; and

(b) a device for processing Huffman decoding.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the device for automatically extracting a XML-ECG file and processing signals comprises:

(a) a device for reading and decoding content of report information (reportinfo tag), data acquisition information (measurements tag), patients'"'"' information (patient tag), interpretation information (interpretations tag) and waveforms information (waveforms tag); and

(b) a means for processing noise.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the signals are processed as decoded raw waveforms.

5. The system of claim 3, wherein the means for processing noise filters out interferences due to baseline drift or high frequency noise via stationary wavelet transform.

6. The system of claim 5, wherein the stationary wavelet transform comprises a formula:

7. The system of claim 6, wherein the decomposition order ranges from 1 to 10.

8. The system of claim 6, wherein the decomposition order is 8.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the ECG database reserves all necessary information of SCP-ECG or XML-ECG files.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the necessary information comprises tables of physician diagnosis, computer interpretated ECG diagnostic information, ECG study, and testee information.

11. The system of claim 10, wherein the table of testee information comprises name, ID number, gender, and date of birth.

12. The system of claim 10, wherein the table of ECG study comprises unique document ID (StudyUID), date of examination, age of testee, or information of phician.

13. The system of claim 1, wherein the ECG database is manipulated by a browser of a remote computer or a mobile device.

14. The system of claim 13, wherein the browser provides functions of inquiring ECG reports, navigating, inputting diagnosis codes, saving, filling in anamneses, inputting results of biochemical examination, inputting drug information, or exporting PDF-based interactive 12-lead ECG reports for clinical requirements.
