Abstract

A dispensing device, having a hollow nipple-shaped stopper configured to act as a one-way valve, for use as a hair dyeing comb is provided. The nipple-shaped stopper has an aperture at its tip end. The aperture opens toward outside when the operator compresses the plastic bottle and closes when the operator releases the plastic bottle. When the aperture is in its closed position, the stopper prevents the liquid hair dye already in the conduit from flowing back to the plastic bag inside the bottle. The purpose of using the stopper here is to keep the air out of the dispensing system in order for the operator to pump the liquid dye efficiently. The stopper and a small aperture at the bottom of the plastic bottle are replacing the one-way valve currently used in many hair dye-dispensing devices. With interchangeable comb heads, the operator can choose the proper comb head for his hair type and different application purpose.

Claims

1. A hair dyeing comb with interchangeable heads comprises a compressible plastic bottle, a collapsible plastic bag, a hollow nipple-shaped stopper with a wide base ring, a comb body part and an interchangeable comb head part.

2. The comb according to claim 1 wherein the compressible plastic bottle comprises a small aperture at its closed end whereas the small aperture controls the airflow out of or into the plastic bottle when the bottle is compressed or released.

3. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the plastic bottle further comprises an open end and there is an outer thread on its neck.

4. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a plastic bag, having an open end and a closed end, is thermal-formed and cut to fit the size of the rim of the plastic bottle at its open end;

the open end further comprises an interface member, which is adhered to the top of the bottle'"'"'s rim, and the plastic bag acts as a fluid hair dye container.

5. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the hollow nipple-shaped stopper has a wide base ring and a “

shape aperture at its top end;

the aperture opens toward the outside and closes toward the inside.

6. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb body part further comprises a hollow seat with an inner thread on its wall and a conduit aperture.

7. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb body part further comprises a conduit and a plurality of apertures on the conduit wall.

8. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb body part further comprises two guiding members on the outside body of the conduit to accept the interchangeable comb head part.

9. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the comb body part further comprises a stopper at the other end of the two guiding members.

10. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb head part comprises two grooves, which are precisely matched, in complementary shape and size, with those two guiding members.

11. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb head part further comprises a plurality of central canalled comb teeth but not the first and last teeth;

the first end of the canal, having a slightly larger reception area, is precisely positioned to correspond with an aperture on the conduit wall of the comb body part.

12. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the second end of the canal is an opening;

the opening, located 3 to 6 millimeters from the tooth tip, delivers the liquid dye to both sides of the comb tooth.

13. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb head part is interchangeable;

a stopper on the comb body part can precisely position the comb head.

14. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb head part comes additionally with a section of a comb adhered to the side of the original comb head representing a more teeth comb head.

15. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb head part comes with fewer comb teeth for use on partial hair coloring or highlighting.

16. The comb according to claim 1, wherein a comb head part comes with all their canals opened all the way to the tips.
