COMPUTER IMPLEMENTED METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING AND UTILIZING HEALTH OUTCOMES INDICES AND FINANCIAL DERIVATIVE INSTRUMENTS BASED ON THE INDICES
First Claim
1. A computer-implemented method of generating and utilizing a health outcome index for a given research interest area and a given population, the computer-implemented method comprising the steps of:
- (a) receiving data relating to one or more given criteria pertinent to the research interest area;
(b) calculating a health outcomes index using one or more computer processes applying a given formula to the data relating to the one or more given criteria, said given formula including assignment of relative weights to said one or more criteria;
(c) outputting the health outcome index; and
(d) periodically repeating steps (a) through (c).
