Abstract

A method for operating a general purpose mobile location-blogging system includes receiving a location-blog request having multimedia data at a server; managing a location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request; sending the location-blog entry parameter from the server for selecting the location-blog entry parameter at a client, and displaying the location-blog entry parameter that has been selected with a multimedia display interface of the client.

Claims

1. A method for operating a general purpose mobile location-blogging system comprising:

receiving a location-blog request having multimedia data at a server;

managing a location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request; and

sending the location-blog entry parameter from the server for;

selecting the location-blog entry parameter at a client, and

displaying the location-blog entry parameter that has been selected with a multimedia display interface of the client.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein receiving the location-blog request having the multimedia data at the server includes receiving the location-blog request at the client.

3. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein receiving the location-blog request having the multimedia data includes receiving photos, video, audio, or a combination thereof and text.

4. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein sending the location-blog entry parameter from the server for operating the multimedia display interface of the client includes sending a location-blog control parameter.

5. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein sending the location-blog entry parameter from the server for operating the multimedia display interface of the client includes sending a location-blog data parameter.

6. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein sending the location-blog entry parameter from the server for operating the multimedia display interface of the client includes sending photos, video, audio, or a combination thereof and text.

7. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein managing the location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request includes creating the location-blog entry parameter.

8. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein managing the location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request includes updating the location-blog entry parameter.

9. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein managing the location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request includes fetching the location-blog entry parameter.

10. The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein managing the location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request includes deleting the location-blog entry parameter.

11. A method for operating a general purpose mobile location-blogging system comprising:

receiving a location-blog request having multimedia data at a client;

managing a location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request; and

sending the location-blog entry parameter from the client for;

selecting the location-blog entry parameter at a further client, and

displaying the location-blog entry parameter that has been selected with a multimedia display interface of the further client.

12. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein receiving the location-blog request having the multimedia data at the client includes receiving the location-blog request at the further client.

13. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein receiving the location-blog request having the multimedia data includes receiving photos, video, audio, or a combination thereof and text.

14. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein sending the location-blog entry parameter from the client for operating the multimedia display interface of the further client includes sending a location-blog control parameter.

15. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein sending the location-blog entry parameter from the client for operating the multimedia display interface of the further client includes sending a location-blog data parameter.

16. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein sending the location-blog entry parameter from the client for operating the multimedia display interface of the further client includes sending photos, video, audio, or a combination thereof and text.

17. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein managing the location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request includes creating the location-blog entry parameter.

18. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein managing the location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request includes updating the location-blog entry parameter.

19. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein managing the location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request includes fetching the location-blog entry parameter.

20. The method as claimed in claim 11 wherein managing the location-blog entry parameter with the location-blog request includes deleting the location-blog entry parameter.
