Abstract

The holding frame is equipped for holding at least one optical element, the holding frame consisting of an opaque material.

Claims

1. An illumination device comprising at least one light source (25), at least one holding frame (2;

17) and at least one optical element (3) that can be fastened on the at least one holding frame (2;

17), the holding frame (2;

17) consisting of an opaque material.

2. The illumination device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the holding frame (2;

17) consists of a plastic.

3. The illumination device as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the holding frame (2;

17) consists of PPS.

4. The illumination device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that in the case of the holding frame (2;

17) the plastic is blackened.

5. The illumination device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the holding frame (2;

17) has a closed circumferential wall (5) for laterally surrounding the optical element (3).

6. The illumination device as claimed in claim 5, characterized in that in the case of the holding frame (2;

17) an inner side (13) of the wall (5) that is provided for the purpose of being directed toward the optical element (3) has a light-absorbing surface structure.

7. The illumination device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the holding frame (2;

17) further has at least one optical element (3) held thereby.

8. The illumination device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the optical element consists of glass.

9. The illumination device as claimed in claim 7 or 8, characterized in that in the case of the holding frame (2;

17) the at least one optical element (3) is connected to the holding frame (2;

17) by means of injection molding, caulking, bonding in, latching tight, clamping, shrinking on, ultrasonic welding or press fitting.

10. The illumination device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that in the case of the holding frame (2;

17) the at least one optical element (3) is designed for beam shaping at least by means of total internal reflection and/or diffraction.

11. The illumination device as claimed in claim 10, characterized in that the optical element (3) has a CPC-like region, a CEC-like region and/or a CHC-like region.

12. The illumination device as claimed in claim 10, characterized in that the optical element (3) has a region like a truncated pyramid or a region (23) like a truncated cone.

13. The illumination device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the holding frame (2;

17) has accommodating regions, in particular depressions (8), for accommodating matching fastening projections (15) of the at least one optical element (3).

14. The illumination device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the light source is designed as a semiconductor light source, in particular a light-emitting diode (25), that is downstream of the optical element (3).

15. The illumination device as claimed in claim 14, characterized in that the optical element (3) is downstream of the semiconductor light source (25) as primary optics.

16. A holding frame (2;

17) for an illumination device designed as claimed in claim 1.

17. The illumination device of claim 1 which is a vehicle headlight module.

18. The illumination device of claim 14 wherein the semi-conductor light source is a light-emitting diode.
