1. An in situ self-forming mineral-polymer hybrid composition comprising:

  • a) a water-based and thermo-gelling liquid component comprising at least one hydrosoluble cationic polymer, one organic mono-phosphate source, and optionally one water-soluble organic mono-sulfonate, mono-sulfate or mono-carboxylate source;

    said liquid component having a pH between 6.5 and 7.4; and

    b) a water non-soluble solid component comprising at least one of calcium, fluoride, strontium, carbonate and phosphate salts, said solid component having a particle size ranging from 5 to 1000 micrometers,wherein said composition contains 50% weight to volume or less of the solid component and said liquid component and solid component are admixed together intimately to form a non-hardening thermo-gelling hybrid composition;

    said hybrid composition gelling at the body temperature.
