1. A navigation method to guide a user along a route from a current position to a destination, the method comprising:
- performing a first determination process to determine whether a turn of the route occurs within a first distance from the current position;
performing a second determination process to determine whether a predetermined situation occurs after the turn, if the turn occurs within the first distance; and
performing a control process to output information about the predetermined situation before the turn is reached, based on the result of the second determination process.
