ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND CHARGING CONTROLLING METHOD
First Claim
1. An electronic equipment, comprising:
- at least two external power supply connecting portions, connected separately to at least two external power supply units whose electric power supply system is differently respectively, accepting an electric power from the external power supply units;
a secondary battery, connected to any one of the external power supply connecting portions, and charged by utilizing the electric power supplied to the external power supply connecting portions;
a switching portion, switching any one of the external power supply connecting portions and connecting the switched connecting portion to the secondary battery; and
a switching controlling portion, detecting the external power supply unit connected to the external power supply connecting portions, and controlling switching of the switching portion in response to whether or not an electric power supply by the external power supply unit is allowed, which is allocated to the detected external power supply unit;
wherein any one of at least two external power supply connection portions is a USB terminal that accepts the electric power supplied from a USB host (Universal Serial Bus) as the external power supply unit via USB, andthe switching controlling portion control switching of the switching portion in response to whether or not the electric power supply by the USB host is allowed, which is allocated to the detected USB host.
