Abstract

Systems and methods are described relating to detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual and presenting an indication of at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual.

Claims

1. A system, comprising:

means for detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual; and

means for presenting an indication of at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein means for detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for utilizing a web search engine.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein means for detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for utilizing speech recognition.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein means for detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for accepting an indication of an undesired memory from the individual.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein means for detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for accepting an indication of an undesired memory from a health care provider.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the means for presenting an indication of at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for presenting an indication of at least one prescribed memory dampening agent.

13. The system of claim 1, wherein the means for presenting an indication of at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for presenting the indication to at least one output device.

means for presenting an indication of at least one of propranolol, clonazepam, ZIP, or UO126 as the memory-dampening agent.

21. The system of claim 1, wherein means for presenting an indication of at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for presenting an indication of a memory-dampening agent administration by at least one of oral dosage means, intravenous dosage means, buccal dosage means, transdermal dosage means, subcutaneous dosage means, inhalation dosage means, or intramuscular dosage means.

22. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

means for presenting an indication of an artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual.

23. The system of claim 22, wherein the means for presenting an indication of an artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for presenting an indication of at least one of a virtual world experience, a massively multiplayer online game, or a learning tutorial.

24. The system of claim 22, wherein the means for presenting an indication of an artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for presenting an indication of at least one effect of the indication of at least one of a prescribed artificial sensory experience or a prescribed memory-dampening agent.

27. The system of claim 22, wherein the means for presenting an indication of an artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual comprises:

means for recommending at least one of an artificial sensory experience administration schedule or a memory-dampening agent administration schedule.

means for detecting an indication of a memory including a fatal car accident witnessed by the individual, presenting an indication of a UO126 dosage prescribed by a physician, and presenting an indication of a virtual experience depicting a safe and busy highway, where the indication of the UO126 dosage and the indication of the virtual experience are at least partially based on the detecting an indication of the memory including a traumatic car accident witnessed by the individual.

43. A computer-implemented method, comprising:

detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual; and

presenting an indication of at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual.

circuitry for detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual; and

circuitry for presenting an indication of at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual.

86. A computer program product, comprising:

a signal-bearing medium bearing one or more instructions for detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual; and

one or more instructions for presenting an indication of at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the detecting an indication of an undesired memory of an individual.

87. The computer program product of claim 86, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a computer-readable medium.

88. The computer program product of claim 86, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a recordable medium.

89. The computer program product of claim 86, wherein the signal-bearing medium includes a communications medium.

90. A system, comprising:

a computing device; and

instructions that when executed on the computing device cause the computing device to accept an indication of at least one memory-related condition; and

present an indication of at least one artificial sensory experience and at least one memory-dampening agent at least partially based on the accepting at least one indication of a health-related condition.

91. The system of claim 90 wherein the computing device comprises:

one or more of a personal digital assistant (PDA), a personal entertainment device, a mobile phone, a laptop computer, a tablet personal computer, a networked computer, a computing system comprised of a cluster of processors, a computing system comprised of a cluster of servers, a workstation computer, and/or a desktop computer.

92. The system of claim 90 wherein the computing device is operable to accept the at least one attribute of the at least one individual and present the indication of the at least one bioactive agent and the at least one artificial sensory experience from at least one memory.
