Abstract
Systems and methods for electrophysiological detection and measurement of intuition are disclosed. In one embodiment, one or more electrophysiological properties of one or more individuals are monitored and used as an indication of a future event. In one embodiment, the electrophysiological property may include heart rate variability, brain wave activity, respiration pattern, skin conductance level, etc. In another embodiment, a signal averaging technique is used to generate a waveform that may be used as an indicator of future events.

53. A method for providing predictive outputs comprising:

generating a first classified response curve for the subject based on changes measured in one or more electrophysiological properties of the subject during each of a plurality of trials in which the subject provides a first response type to a stimulus, wherein the first response type corresponds to a randomly determined actual outcome of the plurality of trials; generating a second classified response curve for the subject based on changes measured in one or more electrophysiological properties of the subject during each of the plurality of trials in which the subject provides a second response type to the stimulus, wherein the second response type does not correspond to the randomly determined actual outcome of the plurality of trials; acquiring a newly-acquired response curve for the subject based on measured changes in the one or more electrophysiological properties of the subject during a period of time, prior to an event of interest, in which the subject makes a choice associated with the event of interest; comparing the newly-acquired response curve for the subject to each of the first classified response curve and the second classified response curve; and providing a predictive output to the subject corresponding to the event of interest based on a result of said comparing. - View Dependent Claims (54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64)

65. A system for providing predictive outputs, wherein the system is configured to,
measure changes in one or more electrophysiological properties of a subject during each of a plurality of trials; -
generate a first classified response curve for the subject based on said measured changes during one or more trials of the plurality of trials in which the subject provides a first response type to a stimulus, and wherein the first response type corresponds to a randomly determined actual outcome of the one or more trails of the plurality of trials; generate a second classified response curve for the subject based on said measured changes during one or more trials of the plurality of trials in which the subject provides a second response type to the stimulus, and wherein the second response type does not correspond to the randomly determined actual outcome of the one or more trails; measure changes in the one or more electrophysiological properties of the subject during a period of time, prior to an event of interest, in which the subject makes a choice associated with the event of interest; generate a newly-acquired response curve for the subject based on the measured changes during said period of time; compare the newly-acquired response curve for the subject to each of the first classified response curve and the second classified response curve; and present a predictive output to the subject corresponding to the event of interest based on a result of comparing the newly-acquired response curve to each of the first classified response curve and the second classified response curve. - View Dependent Claims (66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76)
