1. An antenna structure comprising:

  • multiple low-profile excited elements that are arranged on a ground plane with a predetermined spatial relationship therebetween;

    multiple low-profile parasitic elements that are arranged on the ground plane with another predetermined spatial relationship therebetween, while maintaining a yet another predetermined spatial relationship with each excited element;

    multiple feed units each of which has been connected to and feeds a signal to a different one of the excited elements, in such a manner that phases of the signals to be fed to the excited elements are different from each other by a desired degree; and

    multiple variable reactors each of which (i) is connected to a different one of the parasitic elements and (ii) in accordance with a reactance value thereof, changes an electrical length of the corresponding one of the parasitic elements.
