Abstract
A detection instrument of the present invention includes: a flow path through which a sample to be examined flows, the flow path having a plurality of detection areas in each of which a target substance in the sample is detected, the plurality of detection areas respectively including detection sections and immobilizing sections each of which immobilizes an antibody, and the plurality of detection areas being separated by bulbs. As such, it is possible to provide a detection instrument which can detect plural kinds of target substances in a single flow path.

12. A detection method for detecting a plurality of different target substances in a sample, comprising the steps of:
-
introducing the sample into a flow path in which a plurality of different antibodies, each of which is for capturing a corresponding one of the plurality of different target substances, are immobilized, so as to capture the plurality of different target substances correspondingly; introducing labeled antibodies into the flow path and causing each of the labeled antibodies to bind to one of the plurality of different target substances so as to form a complex; introducing label recognition substances into the flow path, the label recognition substances being reactive with the labeled antibodies; and (d) causing the labeled antibodies to react with the label recognition substances, wherein; reaction activities between the labeled antibodies and the label recognition substances are suppressed in the step (c) and are activated in the step (d). - View Dependent Claims (13)
