Abstract

A method and apparatus for facilitating carrying a Bluetooth assistant comprising two detachable parts, with an attachment system in the first part and a rotatable earpiece in the second part.

A user can conveniently carry the Bluetooth assistant as a key chain or a clip, and when needed, can detach the second part, rotate an earpiece and use it as a headset.

The second part can monitor proximity to a mobile phone when not used as a headset and alarm if the mobile phone is not in proximity.

The second part can also serve as a wireless key for unlocking one or multiple doors, personal electronic devices and/or encrypted data. When the user acquires a new lock, the wireless key can be updated to unlock that new lock.

Claims

1. A first apparatus comprising:

a first detachable part comprising an attachment system,

a second part comprising;

a single wireless transceiver integrated circuit selected from the set comprising;

BLUETOOTH, Wifi and Wibree transceiver integrated circuit,

a power input,

a third part comprising an audio system,

said third part can move relative to said second part,

wherein said first apparatus can pair with one or more apparatus with compatible transceiver in a first range.

2. The first apparatus of claim 1 whereby said attachment system is selected from the set comprising a ring, a key chain, a clip, a Velcro, a capsule, a capsule with a power storage device.

3. The first apparatus of claim 1 whereby:

said audio system is selected from the set comprising;

an ear piece, an earphone, a speaker, a microphone,

wherein said third part can perform movements selected from the set comprising;

fold and unfold,

pivot, rotate, twist,

slide, pull up,

relative to said second part.

4. The first apparatus of claim 1 comprising a device selected from the set comprising:

a microphone, a key, USB Flash, Flash memory, MP3 player, and a bio sensor to validate a user an activate said first apparatus, said bio sensor is selected from the set comprising;

voice recognition system, retinal scan system, finger print system.

5. The first apparatus of claim 1 whereby on an event selected from the set comprising:

activating a switch, detaching said first detachable part, moving said third

part, receiving a wireless message, and receiving a voice command,

said first apparatus automatically operates as a Bluetooth wireless headset device.

6. The first apparatus of claim 5 wherein:

on activation, said first apparatus automatically establishes a secure two-way wireless connection with a paired second apparatus within vicinity.

7. The first apparatus of claim 5 comprising an alarm,

said alarm is audible and when activated produces an alarm sound audible from a distance of 1 meter,

wherein said first apparatus monitors proximity to a paired second apparatus,

wherein upon said first apparatus detecting a connection drop from said paired second apparatus,

said first apparatus periodically attempts to reconnect to said paired second apparatus,

if connection is not established within a predetermined period, said alarm is automatically activated.

8. The first apparatus of claim 7, wherein:

when unfolded, said first apparatus automatically monitors proximity to said paired second apparatus.

9. The first apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:

an LED, said LED flashed periodically,

said LED illuminates a logo.

10. The first apparatus of claim 1, wherein:

said first apparatus fits into a space having a volume selected from the group consisting of;

less than 25 cubic centimeters,

less than 22.5 cubic centimeters,

less than 18 cubic centimeters,

less than 10 cubic centimeters,

and wherein said first apparatus has a weight selected from the group consisting of;

less than about 50 grams,

less than about 10 grams,

and wherein said first apparatus has power consumption selected from the group consisting of;

less than 200 mA,

less than 100 mA,

less than 40 mA.

11. The first apparatus of claim 1 wherein:

said first apparatus can store digital keys for unlocking one or more apparatus selected from the set comprising;

door lock, mobile phone interface, laptop password interface, locked digital file, encrypted digital file, locked database, encrypted database,

said first apparatus comprises a data port for updating information stored onboard said first apparatus.

12. A method for using a Bluetooth wireless headset comprising:

detaching said Bluetooth wireless headset from a first part, said first part comprising an attachment system,

moving a second part relative to said Bluetooth wireless headset, said second part comprising an audio system,

wirelessly receiving voice from a paired personal electronic device.

13. The method of claim 12, comprising:

pairing said single transceiver with a personal electronic device in a first range,

on event selected from the set comprising;

activating a switch,

receiving a voice command,

detaching said first part,

moving said second part,

receiving a wireless message,

automatically establishing a secure two-way wireless connection with said personal electronic device.

14. The method of claim 12 comprising:

automatically wirelessly transmitting a file to said paired portable electronic device.

15. The method of claim 13 comprising:

storing one or more digital keys selected from the set comprising;

digital key, public key, private key, encrypted key, partial key, encrypted partial key, obfuscated partial key, password;

on receipt of a wireless message, transmitting said one or more digital keys wirelessly to a paired personal electronic device.

16. The method of claim 15 whereby:

on paired personal electronic device receiving said one ore more digital keys, said paired personal electronic device performs actions selected from the set comprising;

enable user access, decrypt file, launch application,

unlock phone, unlock screen, unlock file, unlock door,

activate a mechanical apparatus, unlock a mechanical apparatus,

trigger a mechanical apparatus, start engine, activate a relay.

17. The method of claim 12 comprising:

receiving information from compatible transceivers,

displaying said data on an onboard display.

18. The method of claim 12 comprising:

connecting a data cable,

SPI flashing said data.

19. The method of claim 12 comprising:

wirelessly receiving GPS information from a vehicle,

storing GPS information,

on receiving a request from a personal electronic device,

obtaining heading information from an onboard electronic compass,

sending said GPS information and heading information to said personal

electronic device.

20. A first apparatus for providing access comprising:

a movable housing comprising an audio system,

a single wireless transceiver integrated circuit selected from the set comprising;

BLUETOOTH, Wifi and Wibree transceiver integrated circuit,

said first apparatus stores at least one digital code,

on receipt of a message from a compatible transceiver,

said first apparatus extracts operation codes and operands,

said first apparatus executes operations corresponding to said operation codes to obfuscate said at least one digital code,

said first apparatus wirelessly transmits results of said operations to said compatible transceiver.
