26. A method for calibrating a personal monitor, comprising:
-
actuating a vibrating actuator operatively connected to the personal monitor, the personal monitor including an accelerometer integrated in a mobile telephonic device; reading and responding to, via the accelerometer, a vibration frequency and amplitude from the vibrating actuator; and comparing the response to a predetermined value; wherein, if the response is substantially similar to the predetermined value, then the personal monitor is considered to be functioning within calibration limits.
