1. A grafted polymer comprising the following moiety wherein:
- p represents an integer greater than 0, each R1, identical or different, represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl group, each R2, identical or different, represents a OH or NH2 group, each R3, identical or different, represents a C2-180 alkyl group, optionally substituted with one or more C1-4 alkyl substituents, L represents a C1-6 alkylene group, and n and m each independently represent an integer between 0 and 3200, m+n is between 1 and 3500, the ratio between m and n being between 0.01/1 and 0.1/1.

Abstract
A grafted polymer and its use in polymer/liquid crystal composite films, and more particularly in PDLC films, is disclosed. The grafted polymer includes (alkyl)acrylic acid or (alkyl)acrylamide moieties. At least one of the moieties is grafted with an alkylphenol or with an alkoxylated alkylphenol.
