Abstract

A wireless communication system having a plurality of wireless base stations (BSs), and a second BS included under at least one of a first BS among the plurality of BSs and usable by a specified mobile station, the wireless communication system includes registering first identifiers as identifiers of the first BS and a second identifier as an identifier of the second BS in the specified mobile station in advance. The wireless communication system includes transmitting first information to the second BS when an identifier of a present cell is other than the first and second identifiers, and transmitting second information to the second BS when the identifier of the present cell is the first or second identifier, and controlling an operation of the second BS based on the received first or second information.

Claims

1. A wireless communication system having a plurality of wireless base stations, and a second wireless base station is included under at least one of a first wireless base station among the plurality of wireless base stations, the second wireless base station is usable by a specified mobile station, the wireless communication system comprising:

registering first identifiers as identifiers of the first wireless base station and a second identifier as an identifier of the second wireless base station in the specified mobile station in advance;

transmitting first information to the second wireless base station when an identifier of a present cell is other than the first and second identifiers, and transmitting second information to the second wireless base station when the identifier of the present cell is the first or second identifier; and

controlling an operation of the second wireless base station based on the received first or second information.

2. The wireless communication system according to claim 1, wherein the second wireless base station has a control part which reduces or stops wireless output from the second wireless base station based on the received first or second information.

The wireless communication system according to claim 1, wherein the specified mobile station further generates the first information when the identifier of the present cell is the first or second identifier at the time of power OFF, and generates the second information when the identifier of the present cell is the first or second identifier at the time of power ON, wherein the specified mobile station transmits the first or second information to the second wireless base station.

4. The wireless communication system according to claim 1, wherein the first or second information is transmitted to the first wireless base station via an IP network, wherein the IP network is connected to a mobile communication provider network of the first wireless base station.

5. The wireless communication system according to claim 1, wherein the second wireless base station updates a mobile station state management table which registers the state of the specified mobile station based on the received first or second information.

A mobile station apparatus which can be used as a specified mobile station for connecting to a second wireless base station in a wireless communication system having a plurality of wireless base stations and the second wireless base station is included under at least one of a first wireless base station among the plurality of wireless base stations, the mobile station comprising:

a registering part which registers first identifiers as identifiers of the first wireless base station and a second identifier as an identifier of the second wireless base station in advance; and

a determining part which determines whether an identifier of a present cell is other than the first and second identifiers or if the identifier of the present cell is the first or second identifier.

7. A second wireless base station included under at least one of a plurality of wireless base stations and, the second wireless base station is usable by a specified mobile station, the second wireless base station comprising:

a receiving part which receives from the specified mobile station information according to an identifier of a present cell of the mobile station; and

a control part which controls an operation of the specified mobile station based on the received information corresponding to the identifier.

A communication method in a wireless communication system having a plurality of wireless base stations and a second wireless base station included under at least one of a first wireless base station among the plurality of wireless base stations, wherein the second wireless base station is usable by a specified mobile station, the communication method comprising:

registering first identifiers as identifiers of the first wireless base station and a second identifier as an identifier of the second wireless base station in the specified mobile station in advance;

transmitting first information to the second wireless base station when an identifier of a present cell is other than the first and second identifiers, and transmitting second information to the second wireless base station when the identifier of the present cell is the first or second identifier; and

controlling an operation of the second wireless base station based on the received first or second information.
