1. Electrical connection device comprising a first connection member (1) intended to be supplied with an electric current and a second mating connection member (2), each provided with electrical contacts (3a, 3b;

  • 4a, 4b) intended to cooperate with one another in a connection position, once said members have been coupled together following a relative translational movement, the first connection member (1) being provided with at least one illuminated member (9) which has at least two states and which is powered by a portion of the supply current of said first connection member, a position sensor (10a) being arranged inside the first connection member (10 in order to cooperate with a means of the second connection member (2), when said members are in the connection position, so as to act on the illuminated member in order to display said connection and alive position of the connection members, said device being further characterised in that said illuminated member (9) switches from one state to another depending on whether the first connection member is powered or not, regardless of the position of the connection members, and in that the position sensor (10a) has two states, while it is designed so as to be actuated by a portion (16) of the second connection member (2), or a movable portion (13) of the first connection member (1) driven by a portion (16) of said second member (2), when said members are in the connection position, causing said sensor (10a) to shift from one state to the other, the latter being further designed;

    according to its own state, to cause the or one of the illuminated members (9) to switch from one state to the other, whereby the or one of the illuminated members, depending on the states thereof, make it possible, on the one hand, to display the electrical powering or non-powering of the first connection member (1), which is or is not coupled with the second connection member (2), and on the other hand, to separately display the connection and live position of the connection members.
