1. A system for organizing multiple modular medical devices in a network, comprising:
- a set of modules of medical devices;
a central medical device with a system on a chip (SoC);
a set of electrical interconnects;
a set of fluid interconnects;
a set of satellite medical devices;
a set of external computer resources;
wherein the medical device modules are connected to the satellite medical devices and external computer resources by the interconnects;
wherein when one medical device module performs a function, it forwards an electrical signal to the central medical device; and
wherein the central medical device controls the functioning of the medical devices in the network with a system on a chip (SoC).

Abstract
The system organizes a network of intelligent medical devices (iMDs) for diagnostic and therapeutic functions. The iMD network uses distributed computing functionality to share logic and memory operations. The system uses wires and tubes to connect (a) iMDs between each other, (b) iMDs and sensor probes and (c) internal iMDs and external devices, including computers. The ability to network the iMDs expands the functionality between the iMDs. The iMDs share specialized functions, and multitask, to solve complex medical problems.
