1. A computer-readable storage medium having stored therein an activation control program executed by a predetermined information processing apparatus which selects and activates one of a first predetermined number of pieces of software for which an order is set, and the first predetermined number of pieces of software is greater than or equal to two, the activation control program causing a computer of the predetermined information processing apparatus to function as:

  • first display control means for selectively displaying, in a first display area on a monitor, a second predetermined number of first objects among first objects corresponding to the first predetermined number of pieces of software, respectively, wherein the second predetermined number is smaller than the first predetermined number;

    second display control means for displaying, in a second display area different from the first display area on the monitor, a position designation image representing subject software among the first predetermined number of pieces of software, at a position corresponding to a position of the subject software in the order set for the first predetermined number of pieces of software;

    display change means for receiving an operation input from outside, and changing, based on the operation input having been received, at least one of the second predetermined number of first objects to be displayed in the first display area; and

    activation execution means for receiving an operation input from outside, and selecting, based on the operation input having been received, one of the second predetermined number of first objects displayed in the first display area, and activating software corresponding to the selected one of the second predetermined number of first objects.
